Android is the operating System on the Phone, it was originaly developed by Google and is now owned by The Open Handset Alliance. Android is also an Open Platform which means it is a type of Linux.

  14. Sagara562 Says:

His overview is pretty accurate. The android OS is soooooo coool and the thing is that people add applications almost everyday. ANd there freeeee. As of now I have over 60 useful applications I have on my g1. and counting. =)

    I agree 100%

Its the name of the operating system

What do you think you pay for on the Sidekick? The Sidekick service is the EXACT same price as the G1 data plan. Sidekick is worthless without the internet service - which is why, if you are going to pay for it for one of the devices, get the bad ass G1.

  18. Caliboyz101139 Says:

depends what SK your talking about…yeah the ID sucks but my SKLX is great…thats whhy i get the newest one since the SK2,

the sidekick was one of the first with a full keyboared..it may be outdated from these new “touch-screen” phones, but it never lets me down from Instant message to web browsing

  19. Caliboyz101139 Says:
