How to set up menu shortcuts in the SGH-U600?
Saturday, July 19th, 2008Press <Menu> in Idle mode.
Select Settings> Phone settings> Shortcuts.
Select a key.
Select a menu to assign to the key.
Press <Menu> in Idle mode.
Select Settings> Phone settings> Shortcuts.
Select a key.
Select a menu to assign to the key.
Press <Menu> in idle mode.
Select Settings>Security>Phone lock.
Select Enable.
Enter a password between 4 and 8 digits and press <OK>.
Enter it once more and press <OK>.
Press and hold [#] in Idle mode to switch to silent mode.
Press <Menu> in idle mode and select Settings>Display settings> Menu Style>Skin.
Then select a color pattern.
In Idle mode press
In Idle mode press [Volume] to adjust the key tone volume.

In ABC mode press the appropriate key till the character desired appears.
In T9 mode, press [2] to [9] to begin entering a word. Before editing or deleting characters enter the whole word.
[#] inserts a space when the correct word is displayed.
Alternatively select a word from the available choices.
If you want to switch between T9 mode and ABC mode, press the [*] key and hold it for a while.
Pressing [*] will change case or switch to Number mode.
If you want to switch to symbol mode, press and hold [#].
Pressing [1] enables you to enter punctuation marks and special characters.
To insert a space press [#].
To move the cursor, press the Navigation keys.
To delete characters, press the Delete/Menu exit key, just below the right soft key.
To clear the screen press and hold the Delete/Menu exit key.
