According to Wikipedia,
A soft key is a button, located alongside a display device, which performs a function dependent on the text shown near it at that moment on the display. Soft keys are generally found on cellular phones, Automated Teller Machines, Primary Flight and Multi-Function Displays, although they are also found elsewhere. Hard key is the contrary term, which means a hard-coded key such as a number key pad or the Send/End key of a mobile phone. Depending on the development company, soft keys are often called F1(Left),F2(Right).

Check if the phone is on.
If it is not, press the “End” key for 3 seconds.
Enter the lock code if required.
Now access the keypad by pushing the slide up.
Enter the phone number and press the Send key.
Press the End key when you want to end the call.

Plug the supplied headset via connector to the multifunction jack on the phone.
Press <Menu> in Idle mode and select Applications>Fm radio.
Press [i] to turn the radio on.
Find available radio stations by pressing [Left] and [Right].
Turn off the radio by pressing [i].

Select the “Playlists” from the music player screen.
Now press and select Create playlist.
Press after you enter the title of the playlist.
Now select the added playlist.
Press a source.
Select a playlist and press .
Press [i] to play the music.

Press <Menu> in Idle mode.
Now select Music player.
Select a playlist.
During playback the following keys perform the following functions:
i- pauses and resumes playback
Left – restarts playback. Pressing it twice within 3 seconds returns it to the previous file. When you hold this button down you move backward in a file.
Right – skips to the next file. When held down you move forward in a file
Up – opens the playlist
Volume – adjusts the volume
To stop playback press [Down]

Download from the wireless web.
Or, download from a computer using the optional Samsung PC Studio.
Or, receive the music through Bluetooth.
Or, copy the music to a memory card which you can then just insert into the phone.
Now Synchronize music files with Windows Media Player.

Press and hold the camera icon button in Idle mode.
This turns on the camera.
Then press [1] to switch to Record mode.
Now rotate the phone left if you want to record in landscape view.
Press the camera icon button to stat recording.
