I have a Nextel i870 which cost $300.00 but now I want another Nextel phone which also cost $300.00. My current Nextel is sctratched up a little and has moments when it doesn’t act right but for the most part it’s still a good phone. I want to trade in my current phone to get the new phone but I’m not sure on how you trade it in or if it’s possible to do that. I heard from somewhere that you can trade your old fone in to get a new different phone and just pay the rest. Like if you had a phone that cost $250 and you now want a phone that cost $300, all you have to do is pay the $50 difference. Is that true?Does any one know if you can/can’t and if you can, what do you have to do?

I am looking at upgrading the cell phone to a Blackberry. If I purchase the phone somewhere else besides my cell phone carrier store, how do I add the phone to the plan? I would like to stop using my old phone and use the new Blackberry instead and simply use the same phone number. How do I change phones?
