Can I change my Sprint cell phone to a different phone so that I get to use the new phone and keep my number?

If I like my dad’s phone, and we’re on the same plan thing, and i want to switch phones with him, can i do that? his phone is the palm centro and mine is the samsung upstage.

i still want to keep my number.

   well, i have verizion & i am pretty sure it is the same. but all you have to do . is call sprint & say your switching phones.
   or if sprint has a website. go to your account & change you phone.. how? you have to take the battery of your dads phone and put in a number, on the battery. i think its called the HX number. hope it helps. GOOD LUCKK!
