blkcwgrrl asked: I need a new cell phone and I need one that is easier to text on than the Sony Ericsson I have. All I do is talk and text on my phone. I occassionally check email but its a pain on the cell I have and don’t have the patience to always work with it. I need a phone that makes it easy for me to do these things. Preferably a phone that flips open to a key pad.
Can any cell phone be used with Cingular/ATT or can I only buy phones from them?

Just wondering how much of a discount do cell phone dealers get when buying phones…
I’m debating on buying a new phone with a two year contract with T-Mobile OR finding a cell phone dealer-friend to buy a phone straight from the discounted price. Is the latter more worthy? Any input is greatly appreciated!

I know that I will get a signal and everything because I used a cell phone to call him before. However, the rates were always pretty high and I am looking for a better phone plan for a cell phone.
