When you receive a voicemail message, your phone will display a voicemail message indicator. When this happens, just press the “Send” key to call your voicemail phone number.

To Dial Your Voice Mail:

Press Menu (Center Select Key).
Scroll select Messaging.
Scroll select Voicemail.
Press the Send key to call your voicemail phone number.

FYI: Your cell phone service provider may assign speed dial number 1 to your voicemail telephone number. If so, simply press and hold the #1 to call your voicemail number.

To set up a new password and record a greeting:

Dial your voicemail.
Press # to interrupt the announcement.
When the easy-to-follow tutorial begins, follow the instructions to set up your new password and record a new greeting.

Can I use an MP3 as a RAZR2 9M Ringtone?

Yes, but in order for an MP3 to show up in the ringtone directory it must have a bit rate of 64 kbps or less, and be no greater than 2 minutes and 30 seconds in length or have a bit rate or 128 kbps, and no greater than 30 seconds in length.

How do I transfer files from my computer to my RAZR2 9M’s memory card?

You can transfer music, video, and image files from your computer to your phone’s memory card using your RAZR’s USB Connection as ‘Memory Card’, or by uding Motorola Phone Tools.

If you are using your phone’s USB Connection as ‘Memory Card’:

Set up your phone, then:

Press the Center Select Key.
Scroll select Settings.
Scroll select USB Connection.
Scroll select Default Connection.
Scroll select Memory Card.

Transfer files

Connect the USB cable to your phone and to your computer. Your computer will recognize your phone as a “Removable Disk” icon:

Drag and drop the desired files to the appropriate memory card folder to copy them onto the memory card:
Music files: Drive:mobileaudio
Wallpaper and Screensavers: Drive:mobilepicture
Video files: Drive:mobilevideo
When finished, disconnect your phone.

Your done!
